About Us

Kentucky Corporate Federal Credit Union is a "credit union for credit unions" that provides investment, liquidity, securities safekeeping, and correspondence services for its members.

Kentucky Corporate is part of the Corporate Credit Union Network. Twenty-six corporates, plus U.S. Central Credit Union, provide wholesale financial services to over 8,400 credit unions in all 50 states. A corporate credit union is owned by and governed by its credit union members, just as its individual members own a local credit union. And because we are a corporate credit union, we have no business conflicts with meeting the special needs of our members.

Kentucky Corporate was chartered in 1982 and thanks to the support of our members our assets have grown to in excess of $600 million. While in 1998, we expanded our members to include credit unions operating in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia, our primary focus has been to give the credit unions of Kentucky service that is second to none.

Over the years, credit unions have asked for financial services that keep pace with emerging technology, income opportunities comparable to those available in the marketplace and flexible service. Kentucky Corporate Federal Credit Union, along with the Corporate Network, has researched and developed financial products and services designed to help our members achieve these goals, thereby enabling member credit unions to remain competitive and continue to flourish. All of this was accomplished in a stable, financially sound and secure manner.
